Catching up on my Netflix
Just saw "Eragon," the dragon flick with my kids. Not as good as "Dragonslayer," but the special effects are great and with Jeremy Irons as the mentor and John Malkovich as the evil king you almost overlook the fact that the you kid star Edward Speleers (or is that Sleepers?) couldn't act is way out of a hobbit hole.

I read both books that have come out so far. I was rather disapointed when I saw the movie. There was a lot of information cut out or changed. I watched it with a friend that had also read both the books and she agreed. The special effects and the movements of Sephira were great but the storyline stunk.
